Generation VI Anime/Game Ideas

Hey guys so redhead64 was wounderin what Uguys would like to see in generation 6 anime and/or game

List Of Things I Would Like To See-
-The intro of the shadow/light types
-Character Customization
-8 Useable Pokemon Instead Of 6

I'm all for character customization, however I don't think changing the party member size will work well. I kinda like it better as just 6. as for new types...? Hm, I don't know. I think they should just stick with the 17 they have now. I would like to see less stupid looking pokemon though. maybe some new evolutions....

I think they hit the nail on the head when they chose 6 party members. The battles aren't too short and they aren't too long -- 8 would be a bit much for me.

Shadow is pretty much already covered with dark type... As for light type, I'm not so sure, but it would be an interesting concept.

Character customization sounds awesome, but they (kind of) did that with PBR, and nobody really cared. If they did it better, it probably would be more interesting, but... Yeah.

Really, I like what they've been doing with the Pokemon games, I just want to see some Pokemon that look better aesthetically. And less robots. Robots don't make sense as Pokemon.

The introduction of new types in future Generations seems very unlikely. But on the other hand, customization would be more interesting if they didn't "limit" settings like they sort of did during Pokemon Battle Revolution.

I think Nintendo should make Gen VI for the Wii, I mean how cool would that be!!! Pokemon Topaz and Opal would be my guess

Yea, I'd like a REAL Console pokemon game. Colosseum and XD Are alright. I'd like to be able to catch pokemon in the wild and no double battles either. Just single ones.

I'm just gonna say it. 6 is gonna stay, it is not a good idea to add more, nor will it be an idea that they will use.
No new types will ever come. Forget the fan type "Light," it will never exist, also, "Shadow" basically is a type in Colosseum and XD, as it is super effective against everything except itself. But other than that, it won't happen. New types is also a bad idea, it would just create more confusion and complication. The closest thing would be something like Shadow in Colosseum and XD.

For the ideas above, I'm not saying, "oh it probably won't happen," I'm saying "it won't happen." Disagree and argue, but it is true.

As for character customization, it probably won't happen in any 2D game, but I would still like it very much. I like choosing the look of who I am controlling.
Why it probably won't happen? Well, customized looks had already been done in a 3D game, which means the idea has indeed come to mind of GameFreak/Nintendo, yet look at Black/White, no customized looks. I think, if they didn't do it by now, it probably will never happen.

For more, "gen 6" being on a console wouldn't be a bad idea, but the ideas it is bringing to you is pretty bad. 3D overworld would be pretty difficult to do AND have wild Pokémon battles. Colosseum and XD kinda screamed that to us. No wild Pokémon at all in Colosseum, and in XD they wanted to but failed, "we can't do the grass stuff very easily, so let's make 3 spots and use bait!" Which gave us access to 9 Pokémon we can get several times, and some tradables, and an intro to the next gen of Pokémon (which is now old).
Though I do want a 3D game that had more single battles, not 95% double battles.

Now, to add what III would like. Pretty unlikely, but I think Shadow Pokémon should be added to the main story games, not as a major gimick of the game, but just have some random trainers and bad guys have Shadow Pokémon. I want this because I want another XD Poké like Lugia, because Shadow Lugia looked epic. Imagine a Shadow Deoxys or something, and it escaped! Oh, that would be cool IMO, though almost any legendary would do.
I mean, it is an evil thing to do and the idea to close Pokémon's hearts would probably spread to other evil people, either that or the evil guys that did it (I can't believe I forgot their name) OR Mirror B. could be the cause.

I'd love to see something like, Pokemon customization, where you can take various pokemon parts and make a brand new pokemon of your own. You'd be able to set base stats and things like that too, of course you cant go crazy with base stats, there would have to be a max #
