I had gotten the game a couple years earlier, but I had quit 20 minutes in; the first part of the game was slow and frustrating, mainly because of the fishing.
Then, about a month or so ago, I pick up the game and get through the level. After that, it gets progressively better; movement is quicker and easier, story develops, more freedom, etc. Yeah, so I thought it was actually a pretty good game. 8/10-9/10. Not as good as OoT... probably because of nostalgia and stuff... yeah. |

Loved this game but the begining was slow. Once the dungeons started I could not put the controller down. The fishing took me about a half hour because I could not figure out when the fish were on the line.

I basically ended up Googling how to fish. I really didn't know what to expect about the whole "FISH ON!" thing. But the game was great. Most disappointing part was the part at the end of the Zelda version of the Paper Mario's "Pit of 100 trials". At the end, all you get is GREAT FAIRY TEARS!!!11
Yeah. But all the new items were really cool... and original. I really liked the whole Yeti house. Twas my favorite level. |

The pit of fifty trials was fun. I really did not care about the reward but it should of been at least a piece of heart. The mansion was pretty sick. My favorite item was the double hookshot. I wish you got it earlier to use in all the dungeons.

I'm still on Arbiter's Grounds, but, yeah, it did get confusing at the beginning. It took me so long to realise to use the hawk to attack the monkey.

It took me a good week to figure out how to make the freaking cat go inside. Of course I tried catching a fish, that was kinda obvious, but who would guess you had to catch TWO fish!? after the first didn't work I just assumed that wasn't what you had to do.

I loved that game! It's my favorite Zelda game up to date (I didn't play Skyward Sword yet).

Yeah, I think it was underrated. I really liked the realistic the design of Link and landscape in the game. Overall good, but I would side with OoT and MM for nostalgia's sake.
