Competitive Brawl

i have this friend that when we play together, its crazy.

the most competitive part of it is when were right next to each other and trying to do damage to each other but were both dodging at an incredible rate that neither of us are inflicting damage to each other.

its so funny when that happens.

otherwise i play casually, untill i play online. except of ppl r teaming. <_<

I do play competitively, but I don't think I know many techs, and I do know some chain grabs, but I don't usually use them too much, becasue I think it's kinda cheap, Imo. D: I do know some stuff though, that I made up myself that I try to use to my advantage, I came up with a Tech for Pikachu, not sure if it's really usefull, but if I do it right, it can work I think. I haven't tested it in competitive play though. I also try to spike people when they're off the edge. Works sometimes.

whats really cheap is edge guarding.

it requires no skill, and is therefor not considered a viable way of knocking your opponent off screen.

i prefer to honestly knock someone off screen than have them fall to thier death because i was hanging on to the ledge to keep him/her from grabbing on.

Depends if you time it right, I can sometimes edge guard. When I see I have an opening, I run for the edge and they fall. I don't find it very cheap, maybe because I'm not THAT good at it, and haven't found someone who's super good at it either. Most people can get back up without using the edge, so that's another reason when I don't have an opening.

I LOVE spiking. xD I spiked my friend with Lucas, and he was like: "Pro spike lol".

Also, I know how to do multiple loops with 1 arrow with pit, but I don't know how to do arrow rain. :I Looks tough, but maybe I just need to practice it is all. But I don't know how to do it still, I'll have to look up a vid and study it, then try it.
